Angkor Wat was constructed in 12th century and completed in 40 years by Khmer King Suryavarman II. Engineers point that it will take 300 years to complete such a huge and beautiful monument today. In 1992, UNESCO's World Heritage Committee (WHC) inscribed Angkor on the List of World Heritage and it was ranked the 7th World Heritage. There are around 1 million tourists visit Angkor Wat each year.
